If I sign in for free, will I be charged?

No. You will only be charged once you become a paid subscriber. Renewals are automated.

Will you guide me (if eligible) on how to create video content?

Click here to view our simple guide for creating videos. We value more so the essence of your content, so it is up to you how much editing you do – but a polished video is not necessary.

How can I download the MyAFSA logo?

You can download the MyAFSA logo below. Members are encouraged to add the logo to their email signature or other communications to signal their affiliation with the MyAFSA community.

Will my membership renew?

Yes, unless you terminate your subscription, your subscription will automatically renew. Your membership fee will be at the ordinary (non-discounted) amount for your membership type.

Will I receive a tax invoice?

Yes, a tax invoice (once you pay to join) will be available on your MyAFSA dashboard.

Can I become an Executive Member?

In order to become involved, you must meet our criteria. You can contact us below to find out more. You must have a passion for franchising and have significant experience. Places are limited to 6 in each state/region. Positions last for 2 years.

Can I join if I am based outside of Australia or NZ?

Yes, you can join if based outside these two countries.

If I am not involved in franchising, can I still join?

Yes, you can still join. Just select the membership category that best suits you – which will probably be “other”.

How do the Leaderboards work?

We have two Leaderboards. One is for the EM’s and the other is for franchisees or franchisors or their staff. They work by allocating points to skill and effort that you contribute. See the dashboard for more information.

How do the Awards work?

We have two types of Awards. One is for the Executive Members. The other is for franchisees and franchisors (and staff) who contribute online as paid members. Awards commence each mid-year and are awarded the following mid-year. First commencing 2027.

Who can become an EM?

Anyone is eligible, as long as they meet our selection criteria. There are only 6 available places in each state/region. You must have significant experience in franchising. Contact our HQ to find out more.

How much video and other content must I contribute?

We have minimum obligations – which are not significant. However, the more you create the better off you will be.

As an Executive Member – how long should my videos be?

They should range between 5 – 10 minutes only. We reserve the right to approve all content.

As an Executive Member – how long should my articles (news/blogs) be?

They can be as long as you wish – but should at least be a minimum of 250 words for a blog and 80 words for a news article. We reserve the right to approve all content.

How much time should I put into each article?

What if I contribute AI generated content?

Content will always be assessed on its merit by us. If considered of poor value or is fake news, it may lead to disqualification. Such content would reflect poorly on the member.

How long will an EM position last?

They last for 2 years.

What happens at the end of a 2-year cycle?

The position if EM will become available for others and this will be seen on our home page.

What are the EM cohort activities?

As an EM, you will participate in regular meetings with our CEI who will chair meetings and provide further value for you!

How does the Leaderboard work for EM's?

It is no different to our other Leaderboard – the more effort you implement the more points you will gain and the greater your position will rank.

Is MyAFSA really a worlds first?

Yes, we are the first to introduce the concepts as they are presented and seek to have people from different brands and backgrounds contribute and compete.
